Medical expires in 52 days
Made for pilots who fly someone else's aircraft
Renters
You book a Cessna at the flying school or the FBO. Your hours, your logbook and your documents stay with you.
Flying club members
The club keeps the aircraft's records; PilotKeep keeps yours, whichever club aircraft you take.
Pilots building hours
Training for the commercial licence or a rating? Every flight is logged and totalled as you go.
Everything a pilot keeps track of, without an aircraft
Your logbook
The personal log content CARs 401.08 asks for, totals and reports in one tap, exported to PDF or CSV whenever you need them.
GPS flight timer, any aircraft
Tap Start flight on the rental. Takeoff, landing and the airports are caught by GPS and written to your logbook.
Aircraft I fly
The rental, club and school aircraft you fly, with their POH and checklist on your phone. Canadian registrations fill in from the register as you type.
My calendar
Your rental bookings, checkouts and recurrent training by day, week or month, so nothing sneaks up on you.
My documents
Licence, medical, ROC-A and recurrent training, with your medical expiry worked out from the exam date and your age, and reminders 60, 30 and 7 days before.

Your paper logbook, digital in an evening
No digital logbook yet? Photograph your logbook pages with your phone. PilotKeep reads every line, checks each page's totals and turns years of flying into a logbook you can search and report on, any time.
- Stop adding up columns by hand
- You check every line before it's added, and one click undoes an import
- Your page photos stay private to you
Snap your pages
Take photos with your phone, or upload scans, a PDF or a spreadsheet.
Review in minutes
Page totals are checked, duplicates skipped, names and registrations fixed once for the whole book.
Your hours, live
Totals for your instructor and the insurer's questionnaire in one tap, always up to date.
Pilot is for your flying. Owner is for an aircraft.
Pilot keeps everything about you as a pilot. Owner and Fleet add everything about the aircraft itself, for the people who own one.

Pilot questions
What does PilotKeep Pilot cost?
$99 CAD a year, or $9.99 CAD a month, plus applicable taxes, after a 30-day free trial. No card is needed for the trial, and you can cancel anytime.
Do I need my own aircraft?
No. Pilot is made for pilots who fly rental, club or school aircraft. Add the aircraft you fly to Aircraft I fly and pick one when you start a flight.
Can I use the timer on a rental aircraft?
Yes. Tap Start flight and put the phone away: GPS catches takeoff, landing and the airports, with no cell signal needed, and the flight goes to your logbook. The rental company's records stay theirs.
Can I bring my paper logbook?
Yes. Photograph your logbook pages or upload a PDF or spreadsheet. PilotKeep reads the lines and checks each page against its totals, and you review everything before it's added.
Does it replace my official logbook?
The logbook records what a personal log must contain under CARs 401.08. Keep your official records as Transport Canada requires, and export PilotKeep to PDF or CSV any time.
How does PilotKeep know when my medical expires?
From the date of your medical exam and your age, following CARs 404.04, then it reminds you 60, 30 and 7 days before. You can always check the date on your medical certificate.
I'm a student pilot. Is this for me?
Student pilots have their own plan, PilotKeep Student, free until the private pilot licence or recreational permit. See PilotKeep Student →
